F.lli Pietrobon s.r.l. designs and manufactures industrial packaging for sea, air, rail, and road transport.

All our products are custom-designed and built to meet customer needs, ensuring a high standard of protection during all handling processes, as well as preserving the contents from weather conditions during transport and at the destination, even for extended periods.

Our products are also made according to construction specifications directly requested by the customer and comply with the ISPM-15 FAO Standard.

The raw material we use is subjected to HT thermal treatment (56°C for a minimum duration of 30 min.), and the packaging is marked IPPC/FAO – FitOk.

Crates

All our crates consist of a base, side coverings, and a lid made of either closely fitted boards or plywood. The covering is made according to the transport method chosen by the customer.

Their fully enclosed structure makes them particularly robust, resistant to mechanical stress, and suitable for any type of transport.

The preservation of the contents from weather conditions varies based on the transport method and the storage period of the packaged goods at the destination and is ensured by using:

  • Heat-sealed barrier bags and desiccant salts
  • Polyethylene covers
  • Internal covering with poly-coated tar paper
  • External covering of the lid with a 0.40 thick cover

Cages are custom-made and constructed with a base of either closely fitted or spaced boards, with side coverings and a lid of spaced boards.

They are an economical solution suitable for land, air, and sea transport (preferably in combination with container transport).

As with crates, the preservation of the contents from weather conditions varies based on the transport method used and the storage period of the packaged goods at the destination.

Bases are the most economical solution for land transport and allow for safe handling with forklifts.

They are horizontal platforms made of closely fitted boards and assembled wooden beams for various needs.

They can also be used for sea transport in combination with container transport.

A saddle is packaging designed to support cylindrical objects, depending on its type and the protrusions or irregularities of the support points.

Wooden packaging saddles can be used on the ground as an independent support element or positioned and securely bolted onto bases.
